The Macwester 32 Malin is a twin keel ketch with shallow draft ideal for exploring the East coast, with a deep, safe cockpit and solid build. Below decks they offer impressive accommodation, ideal for liveaboard cruising or a large family. Novita (meaning "New Life") was fitted out to an excellent standard by her first owner over a period of nearly twenty years and must be seen to be appreciated!
She was recently lifted out of the water which has brought to light areas of osmosis, as a result, her owner has adjusted the price accordingly and is willing to listen to reasonable offers.

This is a later build Macwester, a very respected and sea kindly design. Frankly, this lady looks a little jaded at first glance, however, on closer inspection she could be dramatically improved with not a lot of effort and budget. The current Owner has replaced all of the running rigging and is midway through re wiring her but due to other commitments cannot now finish off the refurb.. The hull is nearly forty years old but there appears to be no damage, just general wear and tear, similarly down below she would benefit from cosmetic improvement but appears sound and original. This looks to be a good example of this type of boat - upon approach, she seems clean and tidy and is very easy on the eye. Once on board, you immediately notice the deep, safe and protected cockpit and you have a choice of accommodation - forward, main or aft, all with better than expected headroom. The after cabin is much larger than most boats of this type and is more than the usual cupboard-sized compartment, offering two genuine berths, plus stowage. The forward accommodation offers two full single or a double berth conversion with masses of stowage and locker space - this boat could easi... read more

Solid, strong and seaworthy, the MacWester 26 has a good following. Designed and built to a very strong spec these boats are all but indestructible. Popular with new and experienced mariners alike, these built to last coastal cruisers will keep you safe and sheltered with their high cockpits sides. Whilst their shoal draft will allow you to explore shallow waters, creeks, drying harbours & even sandy beaches, the combination of bilge keel and long skeg will give you the ability to take the ground comfortably. Although this example could do with a little t.l.c. to bring her back to her forme... read more
