Believed to be an early 1966 model. Extensive work to hull which includes fairing and epoxy treatment. Cockpit floor raised for self draining and new windows and surrounds fitted. Engine had a fairly major overhaul a few years ago with new engine bearers glassed into the hull. Wired for 240v and 12v electrics but lighting and instruments not supplied/fitted. Mast and standing rigging appear in good order, but running rigging needs replacement. Luz Del Mar’ is a well cared for Contessa 32, the David Sadler/Jeremy Rogers classic. In the same ownership since 1986 and largely original. She has the original and very reliable Sabb diesel engine. Tamara is a Doug Peterson designed Jeremy Rogers built Contessa 28. She has been in very regular use the last five years (but not this season). With a sloop rig, a large overlapping roller reefing genoa, a 1.5 meter fixed lead keel, she sails very well and is a fantastic size for the solent and trips further afield with standing headroom. She has a sledon removable bowsprit fitted and asymmetric spinnaker as well as a traditional spinnaker set up.
