Beautifully appointed "classic", cruiser/racer from the pen of Kim Holman. Built 1963 at Whissocks of Woodbridge, she has been UK based with trips to Holland and the low countries. Trocar was commissioned by her first owner as an IOR racer and went on to sail her in twelve Fastnet races, winning prizes in ten of them; the last in 1993 and 3rd overall in 1975. She was last raced in 1996. Her present owner, a skilled cabinet maker, bought her in 2001 and completely refurbished and restored the boat to her original condition. Carvel wooden construction of Iroko close spaced Canadian Rock Elm to a Kim Holman H30 design extended slightly, long straight keel, marine ply 1" decks have been GRP sheathed, white painted topsides and cream painted decks with varnished brightwork, bermudan masthead ketch rig, short bowsprit, wheel steering with 1/2 cockpit, 7 berths in 4 cabins with around 6ft headroom throughout.

Decks are of marine ply, recently re-canvassed and finished in cream deck paint. Cream painted topsides (2021) and varnished cabin sides. Aft cockpit, tiller steering and fractional sloop rig.
