Designed by Angus Primrose, the Moody 29 is a remarkably spacious yacht for her length, with a beamy, deep bodied hull. A solid, quality yacht built in typical Moody style. Previous owner used the boat for family cruising to Wales, Isle of Man, Carlingford, Waterford and Cork/Kinsale.

Survey done in 2019 and 2023, available on request. Surveyors conclusion – “the hull, deck, auxiliary propulsion machinery, mast spars and rigging are in good structural condition.”

Overall “Piper” is a solid and robust yacht in very good working order. All the main items (engine, rigging, sails, electrics, instruments, etc) have been updated, replaced or well-maintained making this a yacht that is ready to go cruising.

Clean, comfortable and bright interior. 5 beds in 2 cabins. V berth in the bow, 2 berths midships and a coffin berth at the starboard stern. Clever saloon table folds down from the bulk head, can sit 6 people. FM/ AM radio. 2 fire extinguishers. Galley has stainless steel sink, cool box, 2 gas burner cooker with grill and oven. 2 gas barrels stored in locker by the stern. Head has a Jabsco manual marine toilet and sink. 2 hatches give great light and ventilation. Good storage throughout. Hull lockers re-painted with Danboline in 2021.

Moody's are known for being a solid build quality. The hull and deck are fiberglass construction with a iron fin keel. Hull and deck in good condition.

Wintered ashore each year, the boat is currently located at the Kinsale, Ireland.
