Tomahawks are well regarded as solid, comfortable yachts to enjoy life afloat which
are easily handled in a forgiving sea. This Tomahawk is no exception, with good
external space and internal accommodation, with separate heads, plenty of
headroom, stowage, and a forward double cabin.
She is a lovely example, benefiting from, replacement windows, a chart plotter, and
VHF radio. a Yanmar 1GM10 diesel engine, which has been serviced regularly. This
sale also includes an inflatable dinghy and outboard, valuable additions to a yachting
inventory. This boat is an attractive option for singlehanded use, as a starter boat or small family
and for cruising the coastal waters in addition to further afield when the weather
permits. She has been in the same family since 1974 and has sailed extensively, to
Norway several times, around the Shetlands, and many times on the West Coast of
Scotland
In the last five years, she has had a new Plastimo Roller jib reefing, new Standing
rigging, and new halyards. Also, a new mainsail from Kemp and a new 135% Genoa.
She also benefits newly upholstered cushions and interior.
