White Rose GBR 5976T (yes I do come from Yorkshire) was built by Bowman Yachts in 96, displayed at the Southampton Boat Show that year and handed over to the first owner 27March 1997. I am her third owner and bought her back in 2009. She has been lightly used spending most of her summers on a swinging mooring in Falmouth being used as a country cottage and her winters either out of the water or in our marina berth here in Cardiff Bay.
Her general condition is excellent. She was professionally epoxied and coppercoated after purchase and this is still working well . The rigging was changed when I bought her in 2009. Her decks are GRP – I avoided boats with teak covered decks for the well known reasons. She has full paperwork inc builders invoice and bills of sale.
The storage capacity of White Rose is large and the accomodation is comfortable and practical. She really is a good sea boat and I would not hesitate to take her transatlantic if by some magic I was young once again.

White Rose really is an absolutely first class cruising yacht built by a first class yard. By far the best boat that I have ever owned but time has taken its toll on me and I am having to retire from sailing.
