I bought Cobalt in August 2018 and sailed her from Walton-on-the-Naze 700 miles back to Portishead. She certainly proved all her hoped-for qualities; Stable and stiff, the flared hull ensured a dry deck, comfortable cabin. The Volvo Penta started first turn of the key.
When I took her out of the water in Portishead, I found that the sacrificial anodes had not been replaced, which meant a new propeller and drive shaft. She has been well maintained and the engine regularly serviced.

For sale is our Seaking 32, she is only for sale due to ageing owner with health issues.
About 3 years ago she had major refit work costing a large amount of money. Which included new Mahogony planking, New decking, a folding bow sprit to help keep mooring costs down. New rigging, new windows, new set of tan sails made by Jeckells, New toilet, and a brand new Beta engine. All the seats and bunks have been retrimed.
She was made in 1973 made in Leigh on sea. Hull SK57 and is mahogony on oak frames.
