The Westerly Griffon is a 26ft (7.9m) 6 berth, 2 cabin GRP sailing sloop, designed by Ed Dubois as a more modern, better-performing replacement for the older Westerly Centaur design. Griffons were built from 1979 to 1989, with three models - Mk I, Mk II and Club variants.
The Mk II has a better appointed quality interior with a very useful central table, as well as the bigger 20hp BUKH engine and a taller more efficient rig.
The only possible reason to buy a Mk1 is that there are no MkIIs available!

This 1986 Westerly Fulmar 32 with a fin keel is a fair example of this popular (over 400 built) Ed Dubois design. Her inventory includes a 2004 Beta 20hp diesel engine, slab reefing mainsail with lazy bag, furling genoa, spinnaker, sprayhood, seven berths, VHF, depth sounder, 2018 2.3m inflatable dinghy and 2018 Tohatsu 3.5hp four stroke outboard.
