Built by Rondar Boats in 2017, sail number 902, the National Squib is a 19 foot (6m) One Design keelboat. The class was first launched in 1967 in the UK and more than 880 have since been built. This is Squib Number 1, a part of UK maritime history. Cold moulded timber hull (epoxied) with fibreglass deck. She has an original glued mast, original fast shaped keel, two rudders (one lightweight), two sets of sails, two spinnaker poles (wood and alloy), cockpit cover, virtually unused Harken deck gear, thru hull transducer, bilge pump (to be fitted) and a road trailer.
