This is one of the iconic class of Vertue Auxiliary Bermudan Sloops, designed by Jack Laurent Giles of Laurent Giles & Partners, Naval Architects from Lymington, Hampshire. Launched in 1958, she has voyaged extensively around the North Sea, English Channel and Irish Sea. Since returning to her original family owners at the turn of this century, she has undergone extensive work by skilled shipwrights to maintain the authenticity of her fabric and to update the condition of her general equipment.
