Shanty has been my first foray into yachting having previously sailed dinghies, shes is amazing to sail, really forgiving, yet when pushed she will show bigger boats a clean air of heels! NOW REDUCED. The Seal 28 is quite a substantial cruising yacht and packs a lot of accommodation into a 28 foot hull, including an aft cabin. The lifting keel with its min draft of 30" has been really useful, max draft is 4ft 9". I have owned the boat for nearly 10 years and only giving up due to a worsening shoulder injury, which means I am unable to sail. During this time I have steadily replaced many items.
