Moontan is our well loved Mirage 28 Bilge Keel Cruising Yacht, we have owned her for the last 14 years. She has been an excellent family cruiser taking us to many amazing places around the Devon & Cornwall coast. The bilge keels & shallow draft can get you into the smaller creeks & rivers while still being capable of proper coastal cruising. With a good sized cockpit Moontan has plenty of room and is comfortable both at sea and while moored in harbour. Moontan has been constantly upgraded in the time we've owned her. New standing rigging and furler were replaced 2024 and a new engine was installed in 2015 and with new upholstery & curtains in recent years she is in excellent condition and is fully equipped for coastal cruising. She has a Lowrance HDS7m chartplotter, Standard Horizon DSC VHF radio, Clipper wind and Log / depth gauges, Garmin fishfinder 140 and Raymarine ST1000+ tiller pilot. Down below she has spacious accommodation with a separate forward cabin and heads compartment with the new memory foam mattresses to ensure a comfortable nights sleep. A pressurised cold water system is also installed.The new Harken genoa furler and recent stack pack ensure ease of sail handling in all conditions. Interior and navigation lights are LED to save on power and a Rutland 504 wind generator ensures batteries are kept topped up. In the saloon a double high speed charging point ensures mobile phones & other devices can be charged onboard. Moontan would make a perfect first cruising boat, she is currently ashore in Plymouth and is available for viewing so please give me a call.

Nanni N14 14 Hp 2 cylinder diesel professionally fitted in 2015 and annually serviced. This is a superb engine that has never let us down.With its right handed prop it has plenty of power and provides excellent manouverability in close quarter.
