Description

'Mosquito', Loch Long One Design racing day-boat no. 135, was commissioned by the current owner to be built at the International Boat Building College in Lowestoft. Built in 1991 she was the first new Loch Long One Design boat to be built since building in Scotland stopped in 1966. She was built to a very high standard, with a varnished hull, laid deck, and curved cockpit coaming. She is currently in dry store in a barn, and two years ago had work done on her to repair any cracked splines, rub down and renew her varnish and antifoul, and get her ready for a one-week regatta at the Aldeburgh Yacht Club.

She is in fine condition, requiring very little work to prepare her for going afloat, and is supplied with two complete sets of sails, incl. spinnaker, one set of which has not yet been used. She comes with her own galvanised twin-axle trailer with spare wheel and lightboard, and there is a new boat-cover which has not yet been used.
