Description

Boat Details: Clicker hull construction made of English oak. Side rails, fixtures and rudder are mahogany. Team removable floor boards. Constructed in the 1990s in the Isle of White to a historic design. The rigging is Gaff rigged with a large main sail and smaller Jib sail. The bow sprit has been recently manufactured to replace an old one and this is made of Oak. The boat has had waterproofing work carried out however these boats need to be used regularly to maintain a tight seal between the planks as per its historical counterparts but a bilge pump is fitted to drain out any water that may enter and is lever operated. The boat features many metal fixings of brass and copper.
The boat has a detachable outboard motor included. The dagger board is metal and is made of steel. The rigging is complete but may require adjustment once on the water as the boom and mast have been detached to transport on the road but these are easily fitted back on. The boat has a summer sheet and a heavy winter cover included along with oares, anchor, safety ladder, a buoy and barge pole for safe mooring for which the mooring line is also present. The boat has not been sailed for a few years. Trailer is also included and is in good order with good tyres. The boat on the trailer is light enough to be moved by 2 adults by hand.
