East German Folkboat FB497 "Goosander"
Goosander is a Bermudan rigged sailing sloop. The hull is of mahogany planks on oak frames and ribs. The planks are laid carvel style but rather than requiring caulking the sides of the planks are bevelled and nailed vertically to achieve a seal.
