Shanty has been my first foray into yachting having previously sailed dinghies, shes is amazing to sail, really forgiving, yet when pushed she will show bigger boats a clean air of heels!
The Sadler 25 was David Sadler's upgrade to the well respected Contessa 26. She has better accommodation being wider in the beam and giving better head height. She a fast and stable racer cruiser. Shanty is one the last 25's to be built and has a taller mast and larger main than the earlier Sadler 25's, which has all added to her performance.
She has a Yanmar 1GM10 which has been regularly serviced including new water pump last year. Her standing rigging was inspected and tuned last year and most of the running rigging was replaced at the same time..
She is neat down below with okay upholstery a good size saloon and separate heads compartment with Jabsco manual toilet.
She has all the important instrumentation, Raymarine ST40 speed and depth log. NASA wind instrument and a standard horizon CP180i chart plotter as well as a Raymarine ST1000 tiller pilot.
As I have another boat, I am not spending enough time on Shanty and she needs to go to a good home. It is an ideal first step into yachting, or indeed she makes a great weekend cruiser or a can do well in the club racing scene.
