Description

Made by Fairways Marine in 1974. The boat is called Skylou Orchid and I have owned her for about 12 years. She is on a swinging mooring at Waterhead on Windermere and is stored at Ferry Nab Bowness during the winter. The trailer is included in the sale but is only used for winter storage. It is not roadworthy. The boat has a mainsail and a roller reefing genoa. All the rigging was renewed about 5 years ago which is the important bit. The engine is an inboard diesel . This was also overhauled a few years ago but got flooded whilst in winter storage and needs fixing. The cabin has a gas stove with two burners and a grill. Five berths. Due to personal circumstance I am not able to sort the engine or clean the boat up for sale .
The boat was valued recently at £6500 but I am prepared to consider offers.
