Cornelis, a Classic styled steel motor yacht, built as a mussel cutter in 1959. Professionally converted from a commercial fishing cutter into a practical, contemporary motor cruiser, she offers accommodation for up to six persons. A cruising home/ pleasure craft, that can easily be used for commercial survey or charter work
She has the capabilities could go practically anywhere and can be run self sufficiently for her electrical needs. Further modifications and re builds to her domestic arrangements were completed, 2018.
She has spent the last couple of seasons over in Holland, cruising inland water ways. Last out of water insurance survey, May 2020 report available, surveyor's recommendations were attended too.
Returned to Essex and is presently in commission, repainted re-anti-fouled, new anodes. "Ready to move on an go".
This vessel is in remarkable condition having been stripped to a bare hull in a shipyard in Holland and completely rebuilt inside and out with no expense spared, she has had over £300,000 spent on her over the last 10 years and now represents one of the finest "small ship" conversions we have seen, the broker has been involved with the last two owners throughout the extensive renovations and conversion, with much of the work done in our yard, all invoices for the most recent works are available to prove VAT has been paid as well as that the vessel has a large folder to cover the extensive works carried out in Holland pre 2017.

Forward corridor, to port is the bathroom with electric toilet, shower and wash basin. opposite is a single guest cabin.
Forward into Owner's cabin, double berth port, to starboard a dressing surface with open stowage under and full length wardrobe. Through watertight door into fos'cle a washing machine,an electric toilet and shower head, anchor chain locker, single heavy duty battery for the bow thruster.
All berths are wide and over 2 metres long.

Steel displacement hull of riveted steel frames to welded hull plating. 6,7 and 8mm plating.Epoxy paint system on topsides and underwater hull, from bare metal 2017. Repainted, Re-anti fouled 2020.
Raked stem and a flared rounded stern. Painted chequer plate steel decks.
All in good, clean, tidy condition.
Extended wheel house was an added during 2017-18 refit. Toughened glass windows all round the day cabin/ pilothouse. Aluminium water tight 2 part doors access to both side decks.
High steel bulwarks surround the decks with nad rails up to 1m, with large scuppers. Generous deck width all around the pilot house. Access hatches to the foc'sle and the lazerette.
