It is with great reluctance that I offer my boat Minky, a Jeanneau Sun 2500, for sale.

The Jeanneau Sun 2500 is a wonderful coastal cruiser, ideal for family sailing with excellent performance, combining ease of use and low maintenance. The shallow draft allows you to moor her in places that most fixed keel boats have never seen. Minky was launched in 2008 and is 7.5 metres LOA. She is powered by an inboard Yanmar 10 hp engine that has been serviced each year. There are berths for four persons.

Accommodation

Minky has room for four berths. There is a separate self contained heads compartment with a sea toilet and a wash basin with hand pump.
The galley area has a single burner stove, a sink with foot pump and plenty of storage space for crockery, cutlery, glasses and food. There is a small built-in cold box under the chart table that is refrigerated.
The saloon table can be erected either in the cabin or the cockpit.

Construction

The boat was launched in 2008 and remains in a good condition. She is currently out of the water for the winter and being stored in a boat yard at Bosham. She is of GRP construction and is very easy to maintain. The cockpit is spacious for this size of boat and all controls can be handled from the cockpit.

Equipment

The boat is fitted with a Raymarine ST60 Tridata gauge giving details of speed and depth. There is a Simrad Autopilot, a swim ladder, a Horizon VHF marine transceiver, navigation lights, radar reflector, winch handles, anchor, chain and warps, miscellaneous ropes and mooring lines, boat hook, fenders and shore power connection and cable.

Navigation Equipment

The boat is fitted with a Garmin GPS chart plotter and a Horizon GX1400 VHF with internal GPS readout. Full navigation lights.

Engine(s)

Yanmar 1GM 10hp Diesel engine installed in 2008 (when boat was new) as as far as is known, has been serviced every year. The engine is considered to be in excellent condition. There is a starter battery for the engine and a battery for auxilliary equipment including lighting.

Sails & Spars

Kemp fully battened mainsail, furling fore-sail, cruising shute with sheets and down haul line and miscellaneous other sails.

Fire Extinguisher and a horseshoe safety buoy
