Ideally suited to rivers and estuaries, the external swing keel retracts to only 68cm (2.2’) draft and gives remarkably satisfying sailing performance without intruding into the cabin. Twin rudders allow drying on a mud berth. The large open cockpit with all lines run aft, furling headsail and 2 reef mainsail with lazyjacks gives easy handling single- or double-handed, or with children. Detachable bowsprit allows lively performance under asymmetric spinnaker. The saloon table can be relocated into the cockpit and a smaller table is also supplied. Can be trailered behind a suitable car (3500kg trailer.)

Construction

GRP hull with iron stub keel and lower swing keel section giving total ballast of 670kg and variable draft between 0.69 and 1.75m. Twin rudders, designed to dry out balanced on the keel housing and the rudder tips. Cosmetic wear to gelcoat commensurate with age and damage to toe rail and transom quarter (pictured.)
