Price REDUCTION from 110000 euro!
With 1600 W of solar panels, two powerful alternators providing over 5 kW combined output, and a watermaker producing 200 liters per hour, Crystal can sail week after week without needing to enter port.
On sunny days, she lives entirely on solar power – running everything from the autopilot to the induction cooktop and oven. On cloudy days, just two hours of engine time are enough to recharge the batteries from empty to full. Cooking on induction is a real luxury in the tropics – no heat from gas, though two gas burners remain available when needed.
She’s a yacht that has never let us down. That is because since 2008 we have made FOUR refits. We replaced and renewed every system onboard. In December 2024 we replaced all sails with new ones. Crystal is now fully operational and ready to sail immediately, requiring no refit or repairs.
She has weathered Southern Ocean storms, sailed through the Northwest Passage, rounded Cape Horn twice, and reached remote islands most people only read about – Pitcairn, Svalbard, Tasmania – all without any major failures.
(Full tracker available since 2008: Crystal’s route from 2008 onwards.)
So why are we selling her?
After 18 wonderful years, it’s time for a new chapter. We’ve long dreamed of exploring polar regions – places where ice is part of everyday sailing. Crystal is strong and seaworthy, but she was not built for navigating among icebergs. That’s why we’re moving to a larger, steel yacht capable of handling Arctic conditions.
Bringing Crystal to her current condition took years of dedication, persistence, and attention to every detail. We’ve invested far more time, passion, and heart into her than can be measured in money – or reflected in her current price.
We hope she finds an owner who, like us, will fall in love with her from the very first voyage –
someone who understands that Crystal is not just a yacht. She’s a way of life, a home, and a faithful companion in the pursuit of dreams and distant horizons.
We are currently in Malaysia and the boat can be seen in Langkawi in Rebak Marina.

The engine is in perfect condition. It starts from first touch. No leaks. The charging system is a piece of art. There is two alternators installation. Both alternators combined have rated output 495 amps! They can deliver 350 amps continuously. That means that they can recharge completely empty batteries in just 2 hours (with sun faster). Of course all cables were upgraded for those very high currents. The engine room is very well ventilated.
The engine was very well maintained and checked regularly. Oil and filters were changed every 300 hours. Injectors were checked and replaced if necessary every two years. Last turbo service was in 2023. Engine mounts were replaced in 2023.
