Description
The Cobra 850 is designed by David Feltham and built by Cobra Yachts of Hayling Island. She is a good family cruiser which has crisp performance yet is well mannered.
Below her teak woodwork is in good condition and she is nicely upholstered. She has 5 berths, a double berth in the forward cabin with the heads to port and a hanging locker opposite. The main saloon has seating around the table which converts to a double berth. The galley is opposite with the chart table alongside and a quarter berth.
She is bilge keel which gives the opportunity of using cheaper drying moorings and also the ability to go exploring shallow creeks and sandy beaches.
She is easy to sail with her furling jib and stacker pack on the main. She has a 20hp engine which means she can easily motor at 6 knots if required.
This is a well equipped and maintained yacht. A good value for money vessel.
