This boat is understood to be in very good condition throughout. She has cruised the Clyde in all weathers with her current owner, who states that she is "No slouch", having reached speeds in excess of 8 knots under sail. Her outboard has been professionally fitted just behind the keel to give maximum control in all weather and sea states.
She has 4 berths in 1 cabin, and comes complete with a nearly new Honda 10hp four stroke outboard (less than 20 hours use from new in 2008) and a twin axle road trailer.

For sale is my Sea Wych trailer sailer,
She is for sale at the bargain price of �1000 FOR THE BOAT ONLY, although I do have a trailer and engine available by seperate negotiation
The boat is in very good condition and has never been painted and is presented in all her original gelcoat,
self draining cockpit
Below the waterline has been freshly antifouled
The boat overall is in very good condition and has recently had the hull polished,
She has all electronics including nav lights etc which are all operational as well as a solar panel and a raymarine electronics package which is only a few years old,
Inside the boat she is a comfortable 4 berth all the interior cushions are good and the inside is nice and fresh, there is a sink and so on.
All the spars are in great order and can be seen completley rigged for the new owner.
The boat comes with 1 main a jib and genoa, the genoa was purchased new a few years ago and has been lightly used.
The boat benifits from a roller reefing system for the foresail and the mainsail can also be easily reefed, there is a boom cover with the boat should you decide to leave it on a mooring which is also nearly new,
Rudder and keels are all in good order and has never been repaired.
The boat has been dry stored for the last 2 years and with the realisation that she will not be used any time soon the boat is offered for sale at a bargain price, I cant stress how solid and original this boat is.

The trailer in the pictures which is a modern fully galvanised fully adjustable and braked SBS trailer with brand new spare wheel and docking arms for �600
Hardly used 2004 honda 5hp 4 stroke outboard longshaft which is mint and has been dry stored from new for �450
Both of these items will be offered first to the purchaser of the boat and will only be sold seperatly if the boat it sold first,
I am happy to accomodate any viewings of the boat which is located nr rutland water where the boat was sailed before being put into dry storage,

OWNERS COMMENTS: “WILD THING” is a 20ft 4 berth sloop rigged sailing cruiser. Her imaginative design combines exceptional interior space with the very shallow draft permitted by lifting foils (“leeboards”) and a lifting rudder. Her vertical stem and transom means that she is also very stable. The lead ballast is built into the flat bottom of the hull, and watertight compartments bow and stern make her unsinkable. She is fitted with a retractable bowsprit which makes it simple to fly a spinnaker or cruising chute. A new pair of a foils were fitted in 2004 after one was damaged.
The current version of the Red Fox is called the Hunter T20. An active Red Fox Owners Association organises rallies and provides advice and assistance.

For a first boat this would be ideal, she needs some TLC, a coat of paint and varnish, a bit of DIY and she will become a pleasant yacht to sail again. A very inexpensive way to go sailing.
