"Putanesca" has been designed with short handed long distance sailing in mind. She is equipped with every conceivable extra. Designed to be sailed long distance by two people, her sail controls are all hydraulic including the main sail’s outhaul. Every conceivable instrument has been added in the cockpit to enable safe watch keeping by one person. This boat is in pristine condition following a major refit in April 2006. She spent four years sailing between the East Coast of England, Ireland and the Mediterranean and has been the main committee vessel in numerous international regattas. |

Luperon Boat Yacht and Property Sales presents this pristine 1985 Hallberg-Rassy 38 Luxury Edition yacht. There was a total of 210 Hallberg-Rassy 38 hulls built during the period from 1977 to 1986. This is hull number 169. The Hallberg-Rassy 38 is Swedish designed and built for safe, pleasant sailing and a comfortable life on board. The interior is well laid out. She has the volume and displacement to carry everything that a fair sized crew needs to bring for long passages at sea, including plenty of stowage for stores and personal belongings as well as a large water capacity. The high freeboard and low superstructure design gives you good volume below and a large and comfortable deck space above. Olle Enderlein designed this fine yacht. She is perfectly balanced under all conditions. With a long keel and separate skeg and rudder, he has combined the traditional long keel and the modern fin keel types. The hull is in solid fiberglass. The Hallberg-Rassy 38 is built at a yard dedicated to building high quality cruising sailboats. She is built by men with generations of boat building in their blood and who have long lived with the sea an the Swedish west coast. This HR 352 has only had 2 owners, the last one since 1989. Kept ashore every winter under a custom cover and fully maintained and upgraded to a high standard.
Sails:- Roller reefing Genoa, in mast reefing main, storm jib and spinnaker.
Deck:- Chain and rope electric windlass, anchor wash down pump,50 metres 9m/m chain,35lb CQR bower anchor, 35lb Danforth kedge,6 man liferaft, Davits. Sprayhood, Cockpit tent, tonneau cover.

She has been loving cared for by her present owner and only the recent bereavement of her husband causes the sale of this boat.
In 2007 her decks were completely replaced. Her standing rigging was replaced in early June 2008.
