We bought Dragon Fly 20 years ago for our retirement and have cruised in her around UK and Europe from the Baltic to South Brittany. The two of us found her easy to handle and reliable under sail or motor. The robustness of the hull and general constuction has been reasuring in all conditions. The wheel house allows us to sail in comfort when all about us are swathed in oilskins. The accommodation is spacious for two long term and capable of absorbing children and growing grand children.

This 1984 Fisher 34 Pilothouse Ketch is a heavily-built motorsailer featuring the large pilothouse typical of the Fisher line. The 34 is probably the most popular Fisher model and this one features a recently installed Vetus 65 HP engine. The ketch rig makes for easy solo sail handling.

Built in 1972 when GRP was still relatively cheap and hull was more than just a membrane to keep the water out. When viewed by the broker, this little Fisher was still in her winter plumage and so was not presented in her best light. However her potential quickly became evident, particularly with the amount of accommodation available. She was described in a yachting press review as "big little boat". Overall she appears to be in very good order throughout, the one area which may need some attention is the upholstery which is starting to look a little tired.
