A great Offshore One Design class for cruising and racing. Sigmatic 2 is an excellent cruising boat with a good turn of speed, good results at both club racing or handicap racing, and also great as family cruiser. She could be used straight away with the usual winter polish and antifouling and is fully equipped with recent replacement of standing rigging, rudder bearings and seacock’s.

The accommodation consistes of seven berths in two cabins from forward there is a classic Vee berth with infill this is seperated from the saloon by a midships heads compartment and hanging locker. The saloon has a L shaped dinette area to port. This converts to a double berth to starboard there are two single berths a further pilot berth is situated under the cockpit seating on the port quarter.

Sigma 33 OOD are popular cruiser/racer class which have a strong and active class association. In recent years the class had had a revival and are now regarded as a classic boat that’s fun to race, comfortable to cruise and not to costly run and maintain. This vessel has been in its current ownership since 1992 and has only been used for family cruising with the occasional round the island race. She is fairly original to when she was built and so some updating would be required if she was to be used for class racing however she offers a good base from which to start. |

Sigma 33 Off Shore One Design, Built 1989. Sail Number 4539. Excellent racing record with race wins in her class at West Highland Week. One of the finest examples of a Sigma 33. Very well kept. IMMACULATE CONDITION inside and out.
Most recent survey 2006. Extensively upgraded in past 3 years, all to Sigma 33 One Design Regulations.
Improvements recently include:
- Cooker. New stainless steel fitted 07/08 & all gas pipes replaced.
- VHF. New Nexius NX2000 with distress facility fitted.Ariel repaired. New emergency Antenna 08
- Radio / CD. New Panasonic with Mp3 facility CQ-C1303 / 2007
- Espacher Heater. New D2 marine unit fitted o8 with 3 outlets
- Gear Box. Reconditioned box &new spine & control cable 2008
- Toilet. New seacock 07 & new pump 2008
- Boom. All pullies replaced & new dynema ouhall 2008
- Electrics New control panel & wiring checked.New steaming light.[ not fitted ] 2008
- Stantions. 4 new stantions fitted & all leaks repaired 07/08
- Diesel Tank. Removed cleaned out & leak repaired 07/08
- GPS / Chartplotter. Cobra fitted with repeater to outside 2007
- Hull. Fully stripped back, Primed & coated with Internatioal VC Offshore with Teflon prior to Micron antefouling 07/08
- Gelcoat. All marks professionally repaired 2008
- Interior. Revarnished [ table & steps fully stipped ] All leaks repaired
- Keel Joint / P Bracket Both stripped back & repaired. Earth wire attached. Larger shaft anode fitted each year
- Anchor Chain. Replaced 08, plus extra for cruising
- Sails. New No 1 Elvstrom/Sobstad platinum Ts March 08, AS NEW.
- Instruments, Defective units replaced. New mast top wind fitting 2007. Autohelm serviced 2008
- Sail Infantry Storm Jib, Cruising no 3, New no1 Old no 1 , Light weight no 1[mod condition] No 2 [mod condition ] Main [mod condition] 4 spinnakers including med reaching all in faily good condition. New extensive boom& cockpit tent 2007.Lazy jacks fitted. Halliards ,sheets all in good condition, [mostly dynema]
Wardance is fully fitted out for Sigma 33 OOd class rules and has an excellent both past & present racing record. Full servicing and inspection carried out each year. Details available. [laid up on cradle for 4/5 months/year] Numerous spares. TCC .915 / 2008
