This Sparkman & Stephens designed Nauticat 44 has been built in 1980 with teak decks in the yard of Siltala Yachts in Finland. She is a cutter-rigged ketch with double Furlex and powered by a Ford 120 hp diesel. She has new navigation equipment as a GPS chart plotter, VHF and Autopilot from Neco. New electric system with battery charger and batteries. She has a very spacious interior with new floors and upholstery and sleeps 6 in 3 cabins with recently installed electric toilets. The widely-copied aft cabin makes her an ideal place to live as well. She is in good condition, the full keel steadiness of the Nauticat 44 and exceptional maneuverability are a delight to the passage maker. The usual electronics is fitted, autopilot, G.P.S, echo sounder, V.H.F., Navtex weather, compass New fridge 2007, new 3000W
Inverter in 2009.The engine is extremely economical fresh water cooled 4 cylinders Ford 80 H.P,
There are two wing steel fuel tanks of about 40 gallons each.
Water is stored in two under floor rigid plastic tanks with a combined capacity of 60 gallons.
There are loads of engine spares and maintenance tools, electrical maintenance equipment, etc. In 2007 I undertook a mayor overhaul of my boat. All new running rigging 2007, new 2007 the sails are: Harken Jib Furling system, New Main sail July 2007, New Mizzen sail July2007, New roller Jib sail July 2007, Cruising chute 2003 plus sail stack pack. A summer sun cover is supplied as is heavy cabin winter covers. An 'as new' inflatable is included as is a little used 2.5 h.p o/b motor.2 stroke. The yacht is located in the Poolbeg marina 10 minutes from Dublin city
